Meagan Goodliffe, MFT, LAMFT
Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
As a Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Meagan
works under the direction and supervision of Kara McDaniel, PhD,
LPC, NCC, DCC who is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and the
founder and owner of Lifescapes Counseling Services, LLC. Meagan
understands that it takes courage and vulnerability to reach out
for help, and ensures that when you do it can be in a safe,
supportive, and non-judgmental environment. Meagan helps
individuals, couples, and families re-discover their strengths
and work through life’s challenges. She believes in empowering
clients to reach their goals and live life as their best selves.
Meagan sees ages ranging from pre-adolescent to adults.
In 2012, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of
North Georgia. She obtained her Master of Family Therapy degree
from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2016. Meagan is a
member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy
and the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Her experience includes working in an inpatient hospital
setting, an outpatient community mental health clinic, and a
residential substance abuse recovery center. Passionate about
working with the LGBT+ community, Meagan understands the
importance of creating a safe and affirmative space. She works
with, but not limited to, individuals suffering from depression,
anxiety, relational issues, addiction, coping issues, mood
disorders, communication issues, adjustment disorders, behavior
modification, and grief and loss.
In her spare time, Meagan enjoys spending time in the North
Georgia Mountains on her family’s farm, painting, going on
waterfall hikes, and playing with her Boston Terrier, Barley.
